Stronger Together.
All 100 Counties.
The North Carolina Coalition of Black Chambers (NCBC) unites five regional Black chambers behind one mission: serve all 20,000 Black-owned businesses in NC — not just the ones lucky enough to live next door to a chamber.
Five Chambers. Twenty Thousand Businesses.
About 10,000 Black-owned businesses live in the five counties our member chambers serve. Another 10,000 are scattered across the other 95 counties — most without a local chamber to call. NCBC exists to close that gap: pooling resources, sharing programs, and standing up infrastructure where there isn't any yet.

The Five Chambers Building This
NCBC is led by the chambers and business leagues who already do the work in their counties every day. Together, they represent roughly 1,500 active members — and they're opening that network to every Black business in the state.

Three Things We're Here to Do
Coalesce the power of Black business
Bring the voices, strength, and resources of Black-owned businesses across NC under one banner — local roots, statewide reach.
Represent us in policy
Make sure the wishes, dreams, fears, and challenges of Black businesses show up in NC economic and workforce development priorities.
Model what coalition looks like
Show the country how to build a real, working statewide coalition in the Black community — one other states can replicate.
If There's No Chamber Near You, We're Still Here
Charlotte, Durham, Raleigh, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem businesses take it for granted that they can pick up the phone and call their Black chamber. Most of NC doesn't have that option.
NCBC was built for the business owner in Beaufort, Robeson, or Watauga County who's been grinding alone. Plug into the coalition and you tap five chambers worth of resources, partnerships, and people who'll actually pick up the phone.

State Agencies & Corporate Partners
